Meet Butter Pecan

Meet one of the sweetest old felines at our shelter. This is Butter Pecan and she is approximately 12 years old.
She came to us because a very kind human did not have the heart to euthanize her just because she had diabetes. We are so glad she made that choice because Butter Pecan is just about the most lovable cat we have.
Butter Pecan is diabetic but she is on a very low dose of insulin, she is super easy to medicate, and she loves her canned food so you never have to worry about her eating before she gets her injection.
Butter Pecan keeps to herself and would do best in a quiet home as the only pet, or possibly in a home with another quiet, respectful pet.
All this girl really wants is a soft bed, unlimited access to canned food, and a gentle hand that will pet her. This girl deserves a human that will adore her just as she is. Butter Pecan is tiny, very chatty, and a regular purr machine. She also loves kisses and head butts, and just about any kind of contact with her human.
This girl will easily fill any home with tons of love.
