Meet Butch

Meet Butch! This 3 year old tabby is a little shy, but willing to make new friends whether human or feline. Before coming to ARF, Butch found himself on the streets with a feral cat colony, but Butch is far from feral. When a nice person tried to help the feral kitties, Butch tried to let himself in her house! Now Butch is glad to be back living life on the inside! He enjoys comfy beds where he can watch the action, especially if a bird or lizard should pass by his window perch. Butch is a sweet, chill guy who enjoys sleeping on the sidelines. When he's ready, Butch will come to you for pets or give gentle head bumps to friendly fellow felines. He's definitely got a paternal instinct and likes to groom his cat friends or give a good spit shine to his favorite people. He's a real sweet gentleman!

Butch is FIV+ and part of ARF's new FIV+ cat program. While there is no cure for FIV, it can be managed successfully and many FIV cats live long, happy lives. Learn more about FIV: https://www.vet.cornell.edu/departments-centers-and-institutes/cornell-feline-health-center/health-information/feline-health-topics/feline-immunodeficiency-virus or contact us at ARF for more information if sweet Butch sounds like the cat for you!
