Buster's Story

7/3/25 It’s been a while since I’ve posted about Buster, and if you’ve followed us for a while, you might remember him as one of our most lovable goofballs. He was always making us laugh with his silly antics and big personality.
But a couple of months ago, Buster started to change. He was sleeping more, eating less, and losing weight. We knew something wasn’t right. After a thorough vet check and bloodwork, we discovered that Buster is now diabetic. Being FIV positive to begin with, this was a double whammy.
It was a tough blow, but Buster has handled it with the same gentle spirit he’s always had. We've been working closely with our vet to get his insulin and care routine just right, and we’re happy to share that he’s doing so much better — healthy, stable, and ready for adoption once again.
Now comes the hard part: finding someone truly special. Someone with the heart, patience, and commitment to care for a diabetic, FIV-positive cat. We know that’s a big ask — but we also know that out there, somewhere, is the person who will look at Buster and see what we do: a beautiful soul who deserves a soft couch, a warm lap, and a forever home filled with love.
Please help us share Buster’s story. You never know who might see it and fall in love. Let’s find this sweet boy the second chance he so deeply deserves. 2/17/25 Buster has turned into a little love bus. He goes through spurts of playing with toys during the day. It's so cute when he gets up to roll the ball.
He is a friendly and easy going guy. All the cats here love him. He was born 5/1/17. 7/25/23 This gorgeous boy is Buster. He is a feisty guy who will need someone experienced with cats. He enjoys attention on his terms. He LOVES snack time. Buster is also FIV positive. He will need a home that understands his needs. He is about 6 years old.
