Super, special home needed! Rescuing kittens is very rewarding, but every now and again, we get some bad news that just breaks our hearts. A recently rescued litter of three did just that. Meet Maddie, Burt and Cassie. This adorable and friendly, 4-month old trio tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV). Kittens can contract FeLV from their mom. Sometimes a kitten's immune system can fight it off, and sometimes not. Kittens with FeLV deserve a wonderful life, however, it will be short. FeLV is contagious so these cuties would love to be adopted together or they can live with another FeLV kitty. We're happy to give you more details.

Burt is confident, fun, goofy, playful and very sweet. He's always looking for stuff to do, investigating cardboard boxes, batting around toy mice, and hoping his foster mom brings out the feather toy! Burt's bucket list includes an endless supply of catnip, rotisserie chicken every Tuesday and one night in Bangkok.
