We rescued Buddy from the Riverside County Shelter and he was adopted immediately by a wonderful owner. However, a few months later the owner's son came to live with him and he was allergic to cats and so Buddy was returned. Buddy was then adopted by a senior couple who did not take him to the vet and we suspect they as well hit him or did not treat him well. Buddy was, luckily, returned to us after 2 years. Buddy has since been with an awesome foster mom. Buddy has had diabetes for about 2 years now and he has been stabilized and gets his insulin daily. His foster sees to it that he's well fed and cared for. We are looking for an adopter who will love and appreciate this gentle fellow. Buddy is a sweet cat who is very submissive and docile. He would be best as an only cat as other cats tend to pick on him. Buddy will also need an adopter who is either experienced with feline diabetes or who will be very meticulous in learning how to care for a diabetic cat. Buddy deserves a Forever Home. Adoption donation: $150.
