Meet Buddy (the elf)
Buddy is a sweet and gentle soul, approximately 10 years old, who has left his outdoor life behind and is ready to enjoy the comforts of a quiet, loving home. After completing his medical treatments, Buddy is doing much better—his wobbliness is gone, and his charming personality shines brighter than ever.
Buddy is the perfect companion for cozy nights in. He loves to roll on your feet, snuggle on the bed or couch, and keep you company during your favorite shows. This lovable guy has a big appetite for food and affection, and he’s looking for someone who will cherish him as much as he’ll adore them.
A Few Important Details About Buddy:
Buddy is FIV-positive, so he’d prefer a home with other FIV-positive cats or as the only cat.
He would thrive in a quiet environment where he can fully enjoy his retirement.
Buddy has spent over seven years outdoors, so he’d love someone to help sponsor or provide him with a much-needed dental cleaning while he’s in foster care.
Buddy seems to prefer women over men and would like to keep in touch with his former feeder, who cared for him lovingly for so many years. She would appreciate occasional updates about his new life and adventures.
If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will happily share your space, love you unconditionally, and brighten your days, Buddy is ready to be your best friend. Could you be the one to give Buddy his happily ever after?

To learn more about this kitty, please email adopt@catsrusrescue.org or submit an adoption application online at https://catsrusrescue.org/adopt/adoption-application
All of our cats and kittens are rescues. They are mixed breed unless otherwise noted. If a cat or kitten is designated as a particular breed we do not have papers to verify the breed information. We assign breeds to our cats and kittens based on similar appearance, size, and temperament as described in the breed description of a purebred cat.
Our adoption fee is $120.00 for kittens under 1 year (2 for $200), $100 for cats over 1 year (2 for $180), and $150 - $250 for exotic breed cats or kittens. We do not have our own spay/neuter clinic so the adoption fee we charge helps our rescue pay for a portion of vet fees incurred to prepare a cat or kitten for adoption. The adoption fee includes a wellness exam, spay or neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, FeLV and FIV testing (negative/negative unless otherwise noted), treatment for parasites (fleas, ticks, intestinal worms, ear mites), and microchipping.
