Meet Bud

“This Bud’s For You!”
Hey! They call me Bud. I don't even remember if I ever had another name before. I was living on the streets of Norristown for quite awhile. It was pretty bad. When they found me, I was so skinny and all beat up. The great folks at Stray Cat Blues (SCB) took me in, helped me heal and fattened me up. Now they have me living at the SCB facility called “Whisker Way Station” (WWS) where they work on getting kitties like me ready for a fur-ever home.

I may look like a tough guy, but I’m really a mush. I’ve discovered how enjoyable it is to be brushed and pet, and to have nice people take care of me. I will follow you around like a puppy dog, sit on the sofa with you while you watch TV, and sleep with you at night. After the rough life I’ve had, I’m so grateful to be inside and have someone love me.

It’s no surprise that I tested positive for FIV. It doesn’t seem to bother me though; I’m in pretty good shape. Cats with FIV can live a long and healthy life INDOORS. If you are looking for a loving companion, I’m your guy! Won’t you please give me the home I’ve been longing for for so long? All you have to do is fill out an application on-line.

Once you submit an application, one of our Adoption Reps will contact you and work with you through the adoption process. They can help to arrange a meeting for you with this cat.

All cats and kittens adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been microchipped, spayed/neutered, are litterbox trained, have received age-appropriate vaccinations, and have been tested and found negative for FeLV and FIV - unless otherwise specifically noted. When you adopt you get a copy of our internal tracking document showing all vet work completed for the cat, which you can give to your vet as a record for the cat's ongoing care.
