Bruno is a handsome 2-year-old gentleman looking for a patient, loving home that will give him time and space to slowly acclimate and share his lovely multi-faceted personality.

Bruno is a smart, resourceful, curious, soft-spoken little prince with a gentle demeanor. He has back legs that go on for days and give him a sleek look and the ability to jump like an Olympian. His green eyes sparkle and are filled with the intelligence of a wise old soul, despite his youthful age. Bruno came from a sad situation and has been slowly learning to trust and reveal his wonderful personality. He shows spurts of bravery but is still quick to retreat at unfamiliar sights and sounds. He is a little engineer at heart and loves kicking the litter in his litterbox into surprisingly high, well-constructed heaps. Such a goofball! A covered litter box will be a must.

Bruno is a medium-energy kitty who is content to lounge in safe, cozy spots. He really enjoys being brushed and will contort himself into a little ball and close his eyes in pleasure. He likes being close to his trusted people and will politely ask for head, forehead and chin scritches. He looooves scritches! He is also amenable to kisses and is learning to reciprocate. He has the cutest little kissable nose. Bruno is a good communicator and will signal with a gentle nip and follow-up lick when he is done being brushed or touched. He is learning to play with toys and will benefit from engaged periods of play in his forever home to help him get braver and channel his curiosity constructively.

Bruno is independent and mellow but does enjoy time with trusted humans and will benefit from one or two dedicated periods of daily play and brushing.

Bruno currently lives in a 900-square-foot living space with three other foster cats. He does well with calm female cats but would be happy as a solo cat.

Due to a traumatic past, Bruno is cautious and easily scared and will therefore require a quiet home with a patient forever family that will give him time to feel safe and show his best self. No young children for this boy; loud, sudden movements will be scary and send him into hiding! Bruno has made great leaps and bounds in learning to trust again and will need a family that understands cat behavior and will respect his cues. He will require a quiet dedicated decompression space to help ease his transition to his forever home. Bruno is a special boy who deserves unconditional love and will reward his forever family with years of affection and loyal companionship.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
