Meet Brie
Brie-Female-DOB-06/20/2024
Brie is a thoughtful and mellow kitten that embraces the world with a unique perspective. If it wasn’t for her lack of right eye and foggy left eye, you probably wouldn’t know she has vision issues - she is a fierce hunter of toys and holds her own while wrestling her brothers. Brie can be cautious at first, but she warms up quickly and takes on her world with tenacity. She would likely thrive with another cat in the house as she is well loved by both her kitten siblings and adult cats in her foster home.
Veterinarians initially believed that the URI left her eyes permanently useless and painful. We believe that she can see some light and shadows and that she comfortably uses this limited vision to navigate her surroundings. Brie has a standing appointment with a veterinary eye specialist to assess the condition of her eye so that we can make the best decision for her comfort.
**Thank you for your interest in adopting one of our animals! Please be aware that we do not ship animals; all adoptions require in-person pickup in Omaha, NE, at a mutually agreed-upon location. Adoptions are processed on a first-approved basis, meaning that the first approved applicants receive priority in choosing an animal. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hearing from you. If you are interested in Brie, please complete an application at www.nalarescue.org.**
