History: Brenda Perkins came to Motley Zoo from another Washington shelter. Motley Zoo was asked to find her a great forever home, and that is exactly what we plan to do!
Notes from Foster Home: Brenda is a sweet girl who loves to be pet and scratched. She enjoys investigating her foster home and play with toys and laser pointers. You will often find her with her beloved toy bird in her mouth! Her favorite past time is watching the hummingbirds outside. Brenda's foster family says that anyone would be lucky to have this lovely lady join their home!
Notes from Brenda Perkins: Hello! I'm Brenda Perkins, a soft, grey tabby cat around 2 years old. I came from Eastern Washington because I heard the PNW is the best! Also I have a slight food allergy and I know Seattle is a big foodie city. Luckily my diet is really easy to manage with canned and dry food prescribed by a vet that can be bought in most pet stores. I also enjoy monthly flea treatments to keep me looking and feeling my best!
I love to be around my humans, whether it's prowling, snoozing or playing. Often I can be found snuggled under blankets or staring wistfully out the window at birds. My best skill is probably hunting the red dot (laser pointer) - I love to chase that thing all around the house. Never seem to catch it though. Weird. Feathers on a string are also a good time, I highly recommend it. Playing with 'Da Bird' I can jump high and attack feathers like a champ!
At night I do love to curl up between my humans on the bed. Sometimes I like to sleep on one human's head or on the pillow next to a human head. That position doesn't last long unfortunately as not all humans are comfortable with that!
Best of all is when my humans scratch under my chin and around my ears. Oh yeah, I'm completely litter box trained - such a good kitty! I'm looking for my furever home; I'm a really fun feline, I promise! Although it may take me a while to be sure, I will sit next to you for scratches and maybe, eventually, if you're lucky, sit on your lap.
Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization that is run entirely by volunteers. Motley Zoo does not have a brick and mortar shelter location. Instead, all our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet! Thank you for considering adopting a cat in need!
