Branna was a stray who gave birth at an animal control facility.

ABOUT:
Branna was likely not even a year old when she found herself the mother to a litter of kittens, so she had to grow up fast. She skipped the kitten stage and has settled nicely into the calm and relaxed lifestyle. She doesn’t get into play too much, but she does love to birdwatch and sunbathe in the windows. Branna doesn’t love to get onto your lap, but often prefers to sit next to you. She does absolutely love to curl up and take a nap next to someone. She loves being pet and having her beautiful coat bushed. She is a quiet, gentle soul who doesn’t rush things and enjoys being calm, quiet company.

Branna is being fostered with older teenage children, and we feel she would be happiest in homes with older children. She loves to be around her people, but doesn’t need to be constantly played with or held like younger children might hope for. Branna is being fostered with other cats and is content to share space with them, but does not have any interest in interacting. She would do best with other like-minded cats. She has a similar attitude towards the dogs, but dogs being dogs they don’t always give her the space she prefers. When she is feeling overwhelmed she gives them a polite bop on the nose to make it clear she isn’t interested in any interaction. She would do well with any dog who is more interested in being her roommate than her best friend.
