Boots is the queen bee at our shelter and she knows it. She comes across a little gruff with strangers, but all of our longtime volunteers are madly in love with her mood swings. She's the kind of cat who will make you work for her love, but once you have it, you'll feel like the most special person in the world. For this reason, Boots' future adopter will need to be the cream of the crop!

She has a stunning charcoal coat with a white under-coat and turquoise eyes. She is a very intelligent girl. She'd love to have a quiet home where she can relax, sit in the window, and watch the world outside.

She does not like being around other animals, so at the shelter she comes across as sassy and a little grumpy. There are a few ways to cheer her up, including feather wand toys, being brushed, and - of course - being away from other cats and dogs.

Boots was diagnosed with irritable bowel disorder (IBD). We have tried some rather unconventional methods of helping Boots with her stomach issues, including surgery, but she still has bad days in which her stomach gets very upset. Often times with IBD it is just a matter of finding the right diet, but because we are cage free, we have not had a chance to find the perfect food to help tame her tummy troubles.

She tested negative for FIV and FeLK, is current on vaccinations, and is spayed. Vet records are provided to adopters.
