Meet Bootie
Introducing Bootie! Her loving owner sadly passed away, and then to make matters worse, she was abandoned by the other family members. Through no fault of her own, she found herself homeless. Bootie came to NAWS nervous and shy - not surprising considering her whole world had just fallen apart. However, she reminds us how resilient animals can be - despite what she has been through, she has learned to trust us and has shown us that she still has love to share.
Bootie is a quiet and calm girl that would love to find a peaceful retirement home. She is ready to form a precious bond with someone and will be a devoted companion. She can initially be a little shy, but she quickly relaxes and will gently approach visitors hoping for some affectionate pets. Scratches down her back and under her chin seem to be her favorites. She is a low-maintenance cat that just wants to feel safe and loved.
Bootie is 9 years old and our busy rescue is not the ideal setting for this mature (aged to purr-fection) girl. She has been with us too long and we are hoping we can find the right home for her soon.
All NAWS cats are spayed/neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccines. Please email Delonda at delonda@nawsus.org or call NAWS at 708-478-5102 to meet any of our wonderful cats.
