Booie Domestic Short Hair Plymouth, MN

Meet Booie! He's a handsome and lovely boy from the woods on the south shore of Bowstring Lake in Northern Minnesota. Where Booie was found, there was only one primitive cabin within a five mile radius. When Booie and his family (Mama Prooie and brother Looie) showed up on the cabin's doorstep, the owner called Hero's Heart and we got there as soon as we could. By the time we arrived, though, Mama Prooie was pregnant again! (with his nieces and nephews Fooie, Chooie, Zooie, Hooie and Kooie)

During his time at his first foster home, all of Booie's family were put up for adoption and found their forever home. Booie is a shy boy, though, and stayed hidden for weeks. When he was finally brave enough to come out of hiding, he was still scared of people and loud noises or sudden movements. Even though he was scared, he never hissed, growled or swatted at anyone. Booie is a gentleman through and through.

Now that Booie has come out of his shell a bit more, he loves companionship and will insist on tummy rubs! He will throw himself in front of his foster mom and roll on to his back until you rub his tummy. He also likes being held and cuddled, so long as he's not on his back like a baby.

Booie does well with other cats, but will need a slower introduction if the other cat is aggressive. We're not sure how he would do with dogs or small children. He's just over a year old with lots of energy and a big heart. Booie will make an amazing companion and we have big dreams for him!
