Meet Bonnie

8/7/22 - Bonnie was found as a stray in NC and was pick up by animal control. She landed herself a 3 month stay at the shelter and with no one interested in adopting her, she was put on the “to be euthanized” list. That’s when we heard of her. She is believed to be about 1 year old.
Bonnie is the typical personality in cats we find on the to be euthanized list in North Carolina... sweet, gentle, cat accepting and loving attention. No, you didn’t read that wrong. She is a WONDERFUL girl just as most cats from NC are. They are most likely not abused or feral but just deprived of a regular meal and love.
Bonnie does great with other cats but we are unsure of how she would do with dogs. When Bonnie arrived here on Saturday, August 6 she was found hiding in a box. Her foster mom sat with her for maybe two minutes and coax her very easily out of the box for attention. In that very short period of time Bonnie realized she was safe and became open and curious and very gentle. She’s had a lot of change so it’s not surprising that she’s a little nervous having just arrived here but what we know for sure is even as scared as she may be she has not once hissed swatted or attempted to scratch or bite.

Her adoption fee is $300 which includes spay, up to date on vaccines, microchip, given dewormer and flea and tick and negative for feline aids and leukemia.
