Meet Bonded pair Flora and Haidi

Flora description: Your curious sidekick!

Flora is a brave young lady looking for a home full of attention and fun. She has a beautiful calico colouring and green eyes. She's is the the brave one between her sister and herself. She will follow you around, climb on your shoulder always asking for pets and kisses. She loves temptations, tube treats, shredded/minced in gravy cat food.

Flora would be best with someone who has space for her to climb (cat trees, higher beds, sofas). Patient with her to trust you (only takes a few days). Enjoys cuddles, physical attention and play time! Her favorites are anything with feathers, play fetch with sticks, plastic balls. A personal "safe space" where she can hide when feeling uncertain with guests. Children that understand boundaries/being gentle.

Her foster currently loves her, has her by her side at all times when home, got her to get used to some grooming (brushing, nail clipping, moisturizing paws, cleaning eyes).

Haidi description: The princess with an attitude!

Haidi has had less luck than her sister Flora. We don't know what happened to her during their stray life but she's very wary of humans. She has snow white hair and green eyes. A scar on her jaw has left her with the permanent stern look on her face. Don't be fooled, Haidi has a fun side to her. She loves all wet food, all treats, and loves chasing her ball, playing with her wand. Her curious side has her always looking at window, bird watching or getting into trouble climbing plants. Haidi is dependent on her sister Flora. If seperate for too long, she will start calling out to her and start the search. She loves playing, wrestling with her sister and taking naps together.

Haidi would need someone comfortable enough to guide her in her journey of trusting humans. She currently is scared of any physical contact. It gets her jumpy. But she will calmy, pass by your legs, poke your feet with her nose. So we are confident she will eventually give in but it will take time.

Haidi's foster has been able to see growth and believes she will eventually be comfortable with full physical contact with time and patience. Haidi has gone from not being able to eat in the same room as her foster to licking treats of her hand! She now sleeps on her bed in the Foster's room and watches her get ready in the washroom.
