Meet Bolt
Bolt immediately became a favorite among our volunteers. He is so well behaved and smart, we let him our of his crate when we are cleaning and doing work at our holding space and he just hangs out with us. He will jump back into his crate when it's bedtime and to get his mint on his pillow (cat treats on his blanket).
If he goes off on his own to explore, we simply have to call him and he will come running back. Or we can find him on a fluffy sofa that he loves.
He would do very well with children, and he could adapt to being with a friendly dog or other cats if introduced slowly. Once he knows he is safe, he is very easy going. He doesnt mind us picking him up for hugs and kisses and that's good because we just can't help ourselves. He is FIV positive (he came in with a large wound on his head so we are pretty sure he was bullied when on the streets). But he is all healed and very healthy! We are not worried about him passing the FIV to another cat because he is not a fighter. He is a good good boy.
