Meet Bob
Bob is such an interesting looking young guy. He looks like he has gray paint splashes and an adorable bob-tail. Bob is also a big taker! Bob is friendly with other cats and is friendly and playful. Bob Has tested FIV+ but is sweet, friendly, young and in good medical health. Bob is up to date on vaccinations and ready for his forever home.
This kitty has tested positive for FIV, similar to HIV in people. It can not be transmitted through casual contact, sharing food, water, or a litter box. It can not be transmitted to people or other pet species. It is typically only transmitted to other cats via a deep bite wound. FIV positive cats can live long and healthy lives! They do tend to have more dental issues and absolutely must be kept safely indoors at all times.
