Blue

Blue is a ~4yo cat has had a hard start to life. He came from an abusive situation and was eventually relinquished to rescue. He had been declawed and shaved down. The foster in the south told us he was scared, and would need time to decompress. It took him about 2-3 weeks to really trust his rescuer in the south. He arrived in Vermont and was very cantankerous at first- frequently growling and hissing. We respected his communication and gave him time. He is now a lovebug who can t get enough of the scritches and he can be handled easily now.<br/><br/>He is neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and has been given flea and tick prevention. <br/><br/>We are hoping for a quiet and gentle home for him. He was adopted and returned quickly because of the hissing and growling. He will need a patient home who will give him 2-3 weeks in a bedroom or bathroom to decompress and learn to trust.
