Meet Bless
BLESS'S STORY
Bless and her siblings were 3 months old when they were brought to the shelter as strays. They were going to be TNVRed (released back outside after vetting) due to being "unadoptable" because they were shy while at the shelter. We asked to take all three before they were TNVRed, and the shelter accepted. Bless presented to the vets with a severe corneal ulcer that has taken over her entire right eye (caused by a URI, which is similar to a bad Flu in humans), and we were told it would likely have to be removed. We were given medication to go home in hopes it was salvageable.
Once Bless and her siblings got to P.P.A.R., we were surprised by how friendly all three kittens were. They were almost constantly (and a bit aggressively) asking to be held and cuddled. This was great news, as we were expecting to have to provide a lot of socialization and handling, but no need!
Bless's siblings went home, but Bless remained with us while her eye continued to heal. Thankfully with medication, her eye has made a FULL recovery and she does not have any further medical treatment needed!
ABOUT BLESS
Bless just turned 5 months old, and she is a snuggler and very goofy and playful once she gets to know you. She flops over for baths and nails and lets you do what you need to, and she allows you to respectfully touch her mouth, feet, ears and tail with no issues. Bless loves toys that dangle, and she loves her mousies and rattle balls. In time, she will sit on your lap when you're watching TV.
If she goes to a home with children, it's required that they are old enough to understand they need to respect a kittie's personal space. If she goes to a home with a dog, we require that the dog(s) are calm and unintrusive. Bless would love to go to a home with playful cats, as she loves to play with other feline friends.
Bless has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, deflead and dewormed, and she has been cleared as healthy by a veterinarian.
