Meet Blake
Blake is a 3-year-old, shy kitty looking for his forever home!
Blake, unfortunately, came from a not-so-ideal living situation and is a very nervous and shy kitty. He takes a long time to trust his people, but once he does, he is very affectionate. Blake has a calm disposition and underneath his nervousness is a kitty that wants to be loved.
Blake spends most of his day napping in quiet places. He likes to come out and be in the mix at various times during the day and evening, coming out to munch on yummy food. One of his favorite hobbies is hanging out with his kitty friend and getting pets from his trusted humans.
He has a mild energy level and enjoys relaxing most of the time. He will occasionally play with kitty toys such as ball track toys and loves catnip. Blake really loves to get pet by his trusted humans and will quietly meow at them for love. He will rub up against objects when he is feeling extra loving or sees a kitty friend getting affection.
Blake currently lives in a foster home with other friendly kitties and dogs. He is comfortable with the older children in the home since they respect his space and are patient with him.
Blake's ideal home is a calm home with a patient and loving owner. He would be great for an owner experienced with shy kitties or willing to work with Blake to earn his trust and respect his boundaries as he learns to trust his people and his new environment. Another friendly, non-dominant male cat would be ideal for Blake.
Sometimes he can swat or lightly nip if he is feeling extremely overwhelmed or nervous, so the owner would need to respect his boundaries until a good relationship is established.
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate.

All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
