Meet Blackie

Blackie and his brother or good friend Butternut are a pair and the first thing we want folks to know is that we would really like to adopt them together. We suspect they are brothers but do not know for sure. Any one who knows these two comes to this conclusion very quickly -- they should not be separated. They are wonderful outgoing, affectionate cats. They are playful. Young and healthy. Lots of cat, each weighs 14 pounds. Vets are okay with that weight but warn they should not be allowed to put on more weight. They are a delight in a home, great companions, fun to have as part of the family. And, they are very content in life with each other. They are being fostered by the Nature's Select Store of Springfield, 540 W. Monroe. The store welcomes all visits with these two during store hours, which are 12 noon to 8 p.m.
