BLACKBERRY is an all-black male teenager kitten about 7 months old. He is a very active, confident and curious cat who likes to play hard, and then sleep hard! He has a short attention span for most cat toys, with the exception of his beloved wand with a fleece ribbon attached. Not only does he love playing with and chasing the ribbon, but when a human is not on the other end he will drag the toy around the house in his mouth! Blackberry also enjoys knocking small objects off of horizontal surfaces and sparring with the dog. He is very human-centric, and spends most of his waking hours following his favorite people around the house. He is also a great side-snuggler (he prefers being next to you rather than on your lap)! Blackberry came to our cat rescue group as a stray kitten in poor health. Due to his early sicknesses and then a subsequent bout with ringworm (harmless skin fungus), he spent much of his kitten hood in a kennel environment. Blackberry would not be the bet fit for a home with young children, as his style of play can be a little rough around the edges sometimes. He is also not a cat that enjoys being picked up and hauled around in the way that young kids often do. Older cat-savvy kids will have lots of fun with this cat though! Blackberry is the perfect cat for someone seeking entertainment, constant action, and companionship!

Blackberry has been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and includes a free wellness vet visit with our vet partners.
