Birdie is talkative, affectionate and playful. She came into foster with her brother, Wolfman Jack, who is her best buddy. The vet has aged them both at about 11 years old. She is very healthy.

Birdie does well with the fosters other cats, large yellow lab, and 10 year old grandson. She is very loving with very soft fur and loves to snuggle.

Birdie is as sweet as can be and has a little chirp. She would do best in a fairly quiet home.

If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time.
We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes.
Meet/greets and adoptions take place at a site chosen by the adoption coordinator. If the cat you wanted to adopt is no longer available, please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through and it may be relisted. Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.
The adoption fee covers vaccinations and worming. Flea treatment and veterinary care will be provided if necessary. If you are from out of town you will need a pre-paid spay/neuter receipt from your own veterinarian.
