Meet Binx
Meet Binx!
If you are looking for an affectionate kitty then Binx is your boy. Binx loves to be held and cuddled. He gives hugs and loves to nuzzle close and has a loud purr showing just how happy he is.
Binx is neutered, vaccinated and combo tested. The combo test revealed he is FIV+. FIV stands for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Unless FIV+ cats are exposed to nasty germs and viruses, an FIV+ cat can live a long, normal, and healthy life. FIV is species specific and hard for a cat to contract. With good hygiene, quality food and a L-Lysine powder supplement, while also being proactive in their health as you would any other cat, they can lead a normal life.
Binx is around 3 to 4 years old and is ready to meet his furever family! If you are interested in meeting Binx submit an application and our adoption coordinator will contact you regarding a home visit. By submitting the application it does not obligate you to adopt, but allows us to get to know a potential adopter better. operationhood.org
Please keep in mind the commitment when adopting kitten(s) as the the typical lifespan ranges somewhere between 13 and 17 years, according to the ASPCA. However, it isn't uncommon for indoor cats to live to at least 20+ years.

Over 1 year – $75.00
All cats adopted through Operation Hood have been or will be (depending on age) spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, and receive FeLV/FIV tests, rabies vaccination, de-wormer, and flea & tick treatment.
No cats will be adopted out until they are deemed healthy by the vet.
