HISTORY: BILLY BOB was brought to the Santa Fe Animal Shelter and found to be FIV+. However, as is typical with many FIV+ cats he has no symptoms, is in excellent health and expected to live a normal lifespan. While conventional thinking is to only place an FIV+ cat in a home with no other cats or with another FIV+ cat, there are many "mixed households". BILLY BOB was adopted together with BEKKA in September 2012. Sadly, their human has had to move into a care facility and is no longer able to care for the cats. TEMPERAMENT: BILLY BOB is a sweet, outgoing, talkative and friendly cat. Given his very sociable personality, he was very likely once a housecat. BILLY BOB is pictured here with his best friend BECCA so we are looking to place them together.
