Bill & Frankie (Bonded Pair) Domestic Short Hair Minneapolis, MN

Bill and Frankie are a sweet, playful, and affectionate bonded pair looking for their forever home. The boys are just over one year old. They love to be with each other and near people and they love to play and explore. They also love to eat and will purr and reach for the can food as you are getting it ready!

Both Frankie and Bill love to play with cardboard boxes. They jump in and out, hide in them, and bite them. Both cats like to play with wand toys. Frankie also loves to bat little fabric mice and other toys around, while Bill is very interested in the sink and playing with water. They like to wrestle with each other, snuggle with each other, and sit in the cat tree together. Bill is the more vocal of the two and he will chirp and meow to get your attention. Frankie and Bill love sitting on the screened-in porch where they can feel the breeze and hear the birds chirp. They don’t mind being picked up and they like to be pet.

Frankie and Bill currently live in a multi-story foster home with 2 adults, 2 older children (tween & teen), 2 cats, and a cat-friendly dog. They get along well with the resident cats and the dog.

They start the day by following their foster mom, resident cat, and dog downstairs for breakfast. After eating they play and will find a cozy spot to nap - whether that is with each other in the dog bed or cat tree or on a bed or chair. Frankie frequently sits on his foster mom's lap while she works from home. Then it is time for lunch and more chasing, grooming and snuggling with each other. They will let you know when they are hungry!

You may notice Frankie’s cloudy eyes in some of the pictures. This is because Frankie has cataracts, which means he has limited vision, but this doesn't slow him down at all. It appears he has the most difficulty estimating depth, but this has not affected his ability to play, chase his brother or jump on a bed or couch to find a cozy place to nap.

These guys would like a home where people are around for most of the day and they can receive lots of attention. They would like toys to play with and comfy spots to nap. Dogs would be fine as long as they are respectful of the cats and a friendly resident cat or two would be fine too.

Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
