Beautiful Beth came to us when her owner went into a nursing home and the family couldn't keep her. This chunky monkey is around 4 years old and 16 lbs. Beth is a friendly, smart and independent girl who will give and receive affection - but on her own terms! She prefers to sit next to you while you work on your computer, (rather than on your lap), or sleep by your feet at night. She is a super-playful girl whose favorite pastime is chasing the laser pointer, the bird toy and the cat dancer - sometimes one wonders if she realizes she's not a kitten anymore! What's more, she will bring you gifts of cat toys - she will find them no matter where you hide them, and call out loudly to you to accept her presents! Beth is also a very intelligent and clever girl, who will figure out how to open doors and such! The other thing about Beth is that she needs to be the one-and-only in her home. When her foster mom brought another friendly cat home, she hated it, and wouldn't stop growling and hissing at the poor chap, who was wondering what she was on about! However, going to events and meet-and-greets is not really her thing, she would prefer people visit her in her foster home. This remarkable kitty is wondering why she is not yet in her forever home, and would like nothing more than to be in her new home and to belong to someone again. We know her people are out there somewhere.
