Bert (FIV+) Siamese Minneapolis, MN

Bert's estimated date of birth is May 3, 2023. He loves racing around playing with the other kittens and cats in the foster home. He loves when one of the adult cats gives him a tongue bath. He enjoys all the toys! He finds it fun to chase ping pong balls around in the bathtub (especially Chevron - also available for adoption). Bert loves snuggling with people. His favorite thing in life are churu treats! Bert would love a home with another young cat to play with - consider adopting him with one of his foster pals Chevron (his best friend), or Tina Purrner!

Bert is altered and is not declawed. He does not have issues using the litter box. He is a short-haired Siamese Flame Point. Bert is high in energy. He loves racing around the house and wrestling with other cats. But then naps hard! He would do best in a home with plenty of space to run, look out windows, and with lots of other cats to play with. Bert will need to go home with an active, young resident cat to show him the ropes. He does well with other cats and kids. It is unknown how he interacts with dogs. He likely is ok with slow introduction and respectful dogs.

Bert is FIV+, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long, normal, and healthy life—cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, cats are able to live with FIV- cats in stable social environments. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption.
