Meet Bernina
Hi, my name is Bernina! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Friendly, confident, tolerant, playful, vocal
-Can Live with Cats: Yes, after a proper introduction to ensure everyone gets along
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, after a proper introduction to ensure everyone gets along
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, any age
-Needs Indoor Only Home: Not required
-History of Litter Box Issues: Yes, ask staff for more details
-Energy Level: Medium
-Bite History: No
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay/MC
Additional Information: Bernina is a confident young cat who will likely adjust well to most homes. According to her foster home, she is a cuddly sweet girl who loves to be held and petted. Bernina did have an issue using her litter box while in the foster home - this has happened a couple times while here at the shelter as well, but we have witnessed some improvement. She will need to be adopted by someone willing to work with her on her litter box issues which will hopefully improve once she's less stressed. If you'd like to meet Bernina, the fist step towards adoption is filling out an application.
