Bentley is such a love bug, and he is so handsome! He is a purry boy who loves to knead on your lap! He likes to take long naps in the afternoon, but he is also very playful and loves to bat toys around! He enjoys his big brother in his foster home, too! Bentley does get scared by loud noises, but after he realizes he is not going to get hurt, he will relax. He needs a covered litter box, too. Please note that Bentley has tested positive for feline leukemia (FeLV), a virus that affects a cat's immune system and makes him more susceptible to secondary infections. Because of this, his life span may be shorter than that of cats without the virus, but it is also possible that he may live a long, happy life, especially if he is placed with a family that is attentive to his special needs. Because FeLV can spread to other cats, Bentley will need to be in a home with no other cats, or with other FeLV+ cats. FeLV does not spread to humans, dogs, or any other animals. We believe that Bentley deserves every chance to live and be loved like any other cat, and that the right person or family is out there for him!
