Meet Bella Thorne

** HAS SPECIAL NEEDS. PLEASE READ HEALTH SECTION BELOW **

NAME: Bella Thorne

AGE/GENDER: 1 year old female

BREED/HAIR LENGTH: Domestic short hair

LITTER BOX TRAINING: Great!

OTHER CATS: TBD

DOGS: She would likely be happiest in a home without a dog.

CHILDREN: Cat respectful children, 12 and older.

LOCATION: She is currently in a foster home. A meeting can be arranged with an approved adoption application.

ADOPTION DONATION: $150

HEALTH: Bella Thorne has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). This means her cerebellum (the part of the brain that controls motor skills and coordination/balance) is underdeveloped, and it causes her to wobble when she walks. Bella Thorne has a moderate case, meaning she does sometimes fall over or prefer to "Army crawl" to get around. Kitties with CH typically live healthy, long lives - they just have a wobbly way of getting around! She is spayed, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward offsetting the cost of this vet care as well as other incidental and general care costs.

HISTORY: Bella Thorne came to us from a rescue in Texas. She was found living outside with her sisters. Motley Zoo was asked to find her a great forever home, and that is exactly what we plan to do!

NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Hi, I'm Bella Thorne and I'm a diamond in the rough as I'm a female orange kitty! Even though my start to life was challenging, I have found that living inside with nice humans is pretty great. I love to be next to you so I don't have to go far for pets and attention. Because I'm wobbly when I walk, I like to hang out in beds and hideouts on the ground. I can go up stairs but I do need help going down stairs just to be safe.

About Motley Zoo:

Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue! We are a rock and roll themed, volunteer-run, foster based, 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization based in Redmond, WA.

Motley Zoo is a FOSTER BASED organization, which means our rescue animals are cared for in private foster homes where the animals receive one-on-one care and attention in a home environment until permanent placement is found. We do not have animals available for casual viewing or same day adoption. Due to the volunteer-run structure and decentralized/virtual nature of a foster based group, an approved application is required to make an adoption appointment for any of our animals.

If you are interested in one of our Adoptable Roadies, please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application. We will work toward getting you approved as an adopter so that we can set a time for you to meet your new best friend!

Motley Zoo also runs Rock Star Treatment Services in Redmond, WA where proceeds from this service, help support our rescue's $15,000/ mo vet budget- however, this is NOT a shelter. For more information about daycare or training, check out www.rockstartreatment.org.

Please visit our website www.motleyzoo.org for more information!

Thanks for considering adoption- we look forward to helping you find your best match in a furry friend.

Rock on-

The Motley Zoo Crew
