Meet Bella
Bella is a gorgeous, friendly kitty that was saved from the streets of Fort Worth. She was being fed by a family who wanted to find her a home inside, because they could see how affectionate and sweet she was. She has no fears and meows and purrs loudly- you know when she's happy or when she wants to eat! Her long, luscious hair pairs perfectly with her bright green eyes.
Bella tested positive for feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). This virus weakens a cats immune system. However, many vets and studies agree that with proper nutrition and a safe, low-risk indoor lifestyle, cats with FIV can live long, healthy, and relatively normal lives. Studies suggest that this virus is passed along ONLY through deep bite wounds from an infected cat. Casual, non-aggressive contact, such as sharing water bowls, litter boxes, or grooming eachother have not been shown to spread the disease. Bella would do well in a home alone, with other cats or friendly dogs.
You are a good match for Bella if:
-You love vocal, expressive cats
-You have other cats wanting a friend
-You want to show off your beautiful, long haired cat!
