Bella Norwegian Forest Cat Mix Oak Park, IL

Hello, my name is Bella and I am 5 years old. You might think hmm, Bella that means beautiful and what a great name for a cat. I'm glad my foster Mom gave me such a pretty name but sometimes I don't feel so pretty.

See, one day I had a home and then next I'm in a shelter. Nobody said why - it just happened. But a TAR Angel saw I needed help and they brought me to a foster home where I can feel safe and loved.

My foster Mom is super nice. My foster home is really quiet and I like that. I don't mind the dog that lives here but sometimes I get bossy to the other cat that also lives here. I can't help it. Maybe in my original home I was the Queen Bee and now I have to share my foster Mom's attention with others.

I like it when my foster Mom holds me and when she rubs my ears. She put a pretty bow on my collar. It's hard to see with all my fur. I like to be brushed but you better bring the treats to bribe me.

What I really like is a quiet home where I can hang out. Maybe a cat tree or a big window where I can watch the world go by. In time, I will come to check you out and maybe come sit in your lap and let you brush me. We can watch TV together and you can choose the channels!

My foster Mom tells me there is a family out there for me. A family that will see my inner beauty and help me not feel so sad. I was sad when my family left me at the shelter but I trust the words my foster Mom tells me. She's here to help me - who wouldn't trust that?
