Bear (AKA Miss Bear)'s Story

Beautiful Bear has a reduced adoption fee!! Miss B is a sleek black beauty! Truth be told, when she was rescued as a kitten, we initially thought she was a HE, so we gave her a masculine, strong name (BEAR). She also has the nose that makes her look just like a bear. But when Bear when for spay/neuter, it was discovered that she was female, so we had to start calling her Miss B. Whatever name is used, Bear will come running for food. She likes to perch up high and hang out in the catio with her foster feline friends. She lives with other foster cats and they interact well. Bear has an ear tip, as she was to be returned outside, but proved to be interested in human interaction, so we decided to keep her inside and try to find a home for her. Can you provide Bear with everything she needs?<br/>Bear is current on vaccinations and has tested NEGATIVE for FeLV/FIV. She has received consistent flea treatments and deworming according to vet recommendations/protocols. She will come with a microchip that can be taken to your vet and inserted at a wellness appointment. Applications for Bear are being accepted now!! You can find the link on our group's PetFinder page. Meet and greets are scheduled only after your application is approved.

Cats In Knead's Adoption Policy
*Please note-the location listed (Karns City) is our mailing address (required by PetFinder)...it is NOT the location of where the cat/kitten is fostered. Most of our cats/kittens are fostered in the Butler County area. Procedures: Potential adopters contact our organization via email or through social media messages. We are currently only operating a Facebook page at this time, until we can gain more volunteers who can help us expand our social media and website platform. An adoption application is sent to the interested adopter via email (Google link). Once the application is received back to Cats In Knead, it is reviewed by our Foster Coordinator. References are called, addresses are confirmed and the vet reference listed is contacted. If any of the responses do not align with our beliefs regarding adoption, or if false information is given, the application will be denied. If everything looks good on the application, the Foster Coordinator contacts the applicant and follows up with some simple questions, then coordinates a meet and greet with the foster and the potential adopter. After the meet and greet (which only occurs at the foster home), the potential adopter contacts the foster coordinator with their input regarding the visit. We reserve the right to conduct a home visit with the potential adopter at any time before, during or after the adoption process. If adopters are approved, they will also be required to review and sign a contract, which will be maintained by Cats In Knead.
