Beaker's Story

Beaker is a sweet boy who needs a very special adopter. You see, this sweet and gentle gray boy has a very high grade heart murmur. This means his lifespan will likely be shorter than other cats. That doesn't make him any less deserving of love and affection... and most importantly, a forever home. He is currently on heart medication twice a day, and takes his meds like a champ!<br/><br/>This cat needs to be adopted with a friend (or a very active household).<br/><br/>This cat has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and had an echocardiogram -- we would appreciate it if their potential adopter could help us cover this cost ($430 total) in lieu of an adoption donation.

Thanks for your interest in adopting! During these difficult times adoptions are moving very fast and we are working to respond as quickly as possible to get our cats into their forever homes. There is a chance that the cat you are inquiring about may already have an application, but we will do our best to find you the perfect fit. At this time we can only process adoptions to Brooklyn and nearby areas of Queens and Manhattan at this time. Applications from other boroughs and states will not be processed. All of our adoptions are happening as foster to adopt: you'll begin by fostering with the intention to adopt if all works out. As always, we DO NOT adopt out single kittens and any applications for a single kitten will be ignored.
