Were you just thinking to yourself that what you're missing in your life is a rather rotund, loaf of a tortie? Well if so, your wait is over! Meet the fun and fabulous, BB. Sweet BB came to us through no fault of her own, but only after her owner lost their housing and was unable to continue to provide for her. BB has an estimated birthdate of 7/26/16, so she's about 9 years old. This sweet girl, has been a joy since the day she arrived. She is super friendly, and has not met a stranger. She loves getting attention and love from the staff and volunteers, and she loves getting brushed. She's a little bit of a talkative kitty, and we think that that just adds to how adorable she is. As mentioned, she is a bit on the chunky side, currently weighing in at 16 pounds. She probably wouldn't be thrilled with us for telling you this, but she really could stand to lose a few pounds. Carrying around that extra weight is hard on a kitty's joints, and losing some weight will really help her out with that. We were told that BB gets along well with other kitties, and she has demonstrated that while being at the shelter. She does have a habit of eating the food of other kitties, so care must be taken to make sure that she doesn't overdo it. We were also told that she gets along with dogs who are cat-friendly and respectful. She does well with children too. BB would also be a great solo kitty if that is what's best for you and your household. She just wants to soak up all of the love, pets and brushes that she can get. She isn't too picky, and there is zero tortitude here too. Sometimes those flashy furred torties can have a tude, but BB is nothing but fun and love! Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older. It includes: a microchip, spay or neuter, set of shots, de-worming, and a 1-year rabies vaccine (if old enough). Fees can be made by cash or credit card.
