Meet BB

HI! These are “The Star Wars” kittens. The largest kitten is BB-8. He sort of leads the group in their adventures. We call him “BB,” or sometimes just Big Boy. He is white with blue touches on his face and legs, and he has big blue eyes; we think he and Finn are lynx point Siamese kids. His “look-alike brother”, is Finn. We like to call him “Hugo.” Hugo wears a little Purple collar—just so we can tell them apart! The third brother, Kylo Ren, is called “Fred,” because he looks so much like a black/grey tabby tom cat we used to have who was named Fred.
These little guys were born 4 months ago, into a very bad situation. They came to their current foster parents about 8 weeks ago, when they were all less than 2 pounds each. They had three other siblings, but they were too little and too sick to survive. We came close to losing Fred, but he is a fighter, and he is now strong and healthy!
Thanks to Purple Paws, an abundance of good food, lots of exercise, and lots of snuggles and lovin’, they have all grown strong and fast. They love to run. They love to eat. They love to play with anything that sparkles, makes noise, or moves (including their brothers or other cats).
And yes, they love to climb and jump. We fashioned a track above the windows in my home office, which they love to climb around on. They love to nap anywhere the sun shines in through the window—or on one of two different cat trees. They hang out together and sleep together, often in a cat pile on the foster mom’s desk chair.
They get along well with the adult cats in our home. There are young cats, middle age cats, and the hospice cat who is failing—but even she allows them to eat with her and play with her tail sometimes. They would really like to play with Jayna (their canine foster sister), she will let them rub cheeks or climb on her for a little while, but quietly slips out of the room when they get to be too much for her. And if you ever wonder where they are—just rattle the treat container and they will be there before you can get it set down!
They have had their shots, they are neutered, and they are ready to go to their fur-ever homes! If you would like to have a bundle of snuggles and kitty kisses—they would love to come and be your snuggle buddy! You can apply to adopt one, some, or all of us at purple-paws.org.
Our adoption fee is $100 which helps cover our neuter, vaccinations, and other expenses.
