BATGIRL is a superhero having overcome a tough beginning for a kitten on the streets of the Bronx, and recuperating from a difficult surgery to become and playful, affectionate young girl. She will need a patient, experienced owner who will allow her the time to acclimate to her new home and owner.

Her approx DOB is 8/12/20. She has been spayed, vetted, tested (negative for FIV & FeLV), vaccinated and de-wormed. She especially loves to play with her catnip toys and straws.

Batgirl now resides at the Yonkers Petsmart Adoption Center. Please stop by if you would like to see her in person.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC WE ARE ONLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THIS CAT FROM THE WESTCHESTER COUNTY AND NORTH BRONX AREAS.

We require adopters to fill out an application, have basic references checked, allow a home visit (to ensure conditions are safe and reasonable), and pay an adoption fee. We allow all adopters an up-to-2-week-long tryout period to determine if the cat is a good match for them. If not, we will retrieve the cat(s) and return the adoption fee in full. We will also help with tips and methods for introducing the cat(s) to other pets, if needed.
