Baskin Tiger Acushnet, MA

Despite Baskin's grumpy little face, she's actually quite sweet! Baskin is approximately 2 years old and was found outside as a stray. She was very scared when she first arrived at her foster home and would hiss and swat. Now that she's comfortable and settled, she is friendly and warming up to her foster family. She’s much happier and will run up to them for attention. She does not swat at her foster mom's small dogs when they run around near her and isn't even bothered when they try to eat her food. If anything, she seems curious about them. She is good with her foster mom's son and might be fine with other cat-savvy kids that understand when a cat wants attention or wants to be left alone. While she still swats occasionally, it's done playfully and her claws are retracted. It’s almost as if she’s batting you on the leg to say, “Hey don’t leave me!” Since she'll need time to adjust in her new home, we are only considering applicants that are experienced adopters and ideally have no kids.
