Meet Barney! Barney is a 2 year old domestic long hair cat. He is diabetic, but that is not scary!!! He requires special food, and insulin shots twice a day. He doesn't even notice the shots!
Barney enjoys headbutting the house and foster dogs. He hasn't met an animal he doesn't like. We think he would do well in a home with older children. He enjoys hanging out in his room with his toys. He loves any toy with catnip in it, and cardboard just might be his favorite! He loves to be brushed and pet, and can be very playful. He isn't a lap cat, he prefers to sit next to you. If you are looking for a gorgeous, laid back dude, Barney is the one for you.
We will send him to his new home with a supply of insulin, syringes and prescription diet. He is going to require this for life and will be more expensive to upkeep than an average cat. The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, a microchip, a free bag of food, and a certificate for a first free vet visit to the vet of your choice.
