Barbie is an energetic and loving 10-month-old kitten looking for her forever home!

A sweet and silly girl, this lovely house panther confirms what we’ve always known: like the perfect black cocktail dress or a sleek black sportscar, black cats are chic, elegant, and stylish.

Barbie is an active kitty; she loves playing with a variety of toys, racing around the house, and even having a homemade "ball pit" in the bathtub. She adores people and will seek out pets and attention. In fact, she likes pets so much that she won't sit still for any pictures and just wants to be with her human family.

Barbie is a big fan of looking out windows and will run from window to window watching the critters—a birdfeeder in the yard that she could check out daily would be a plus for this nature-lover! Barbie gets along with other cats—although you won't find her snuggled up to them, she does like playing with them (and trying to sneak their food). It took just a couple of days of slow introductions for Barbie to be fully integrated with the other cats in her foster home.

She especially enjoys canned food and hopes her new home has some on the menu for her. A great office-mate, Barbie is always ready to sneak in a snuggle during the day while her foster mom is working from home. She has medium-length fur that will need gentle brushing, and the cutest puffy tail that doesn't shed much.

This affectionate girl would do well in a home with other friendly cats, or she'd be happy as your one and only, provided her humans are around frequently and able to engage with her and provide the attention she enjoys. She would definitely like a home with lots of toys, and will be sure to delight you with her antics.

Barbie is FIV+, but that doesn't mean she can't live a long, normal, and healthy life—cats with FIV commonly have average lifespans. Because FIV is spread only through deep bite wounds, Barbie would do just fine with another friendly cat.
