Banya's life got off to a rough start with untreated ear infections that left her with a quirky head tilt and some chronic congestion. This lady has been with us for a whopping 6 years, making her one of our longest residing cats. This adorable snowy white lady just hasn't had luck finding her forever family. With a name that means "paleness" and "of the forrest", this woodland goddess has a beautiful white coat that's impossible not to admire. She gets along well with other cats, and loves to quietly loaf on folded blankets while our intake volunteers work. She's a calm cat who is more of a kitty secretary than a lap cat. She recently had some teeth removed but she's always enjoyed her wet food! Banya's special note other than chronic congestion? She will allow pets when she warms up to people but will give you a tap with her paws when she needs to set her boundaries. Because of this, she needs a patient person who will understand how she communicates and when she needs space. Do you need a cat like Banya to supurrvise household activities?
