Banner Mom (aka Freda and Ella) an adult, gray female cat Although she is very conservative about asking for attention, she does like a good petting session. Until she gets to know you she is very timid and it is very unlikely you will get to touch her. Once she learns to trust you she will allow pets, accept treats and will play. She is not one to scratch or bite but she will let you know if she's getting overwhelmed by giving a quick tap with her paw. She is very independent and low maintenance and has been working in her foster home to become the perfect quiet friend. She is a sweet but timid and does not trust sudden movements, so she would not well in a home with children or with a lot of visitors. Banner Mom especially loves to chase she rainbow dancer string toy and that is when you will see her inner kitten come out. She doesn’t tolerate being picked up so home vetting would be needed. She has been in foster care with her best friend Joy but since she is irritable when it comes to other cats she would need to be an only cat or be adopted together with Joy (who we also have posted for adoption!). Banner Mom is going to make someone a wonderful companion, but it could take months or even a year before she truly warms up to a new environment.
