Bambi's mom showed up on a farm near Clarksville, Iowa, and within days had a litter of kittens. The farm has spayed the mom and is going to keep her. We took Bambi and her brother and sisters in. They are living in a foster home. Bambi is now up to date on shots, tested FeLV / FIV negative, and spayed.

Bambi is about 18-weeks-old as of August 21st, 2019. She is so pretty with her beautiful markings. She starts off shy but becomes more friendly and outgoing every day. New situations scare her so she needs time to adjust. She loves to play and run around once she is comfortable. She should do ok with other cats and dogs. Older kind children would be best.

This kitten family is Leta, Nessie, Bambi, Lotti, and Ashton.

Bambi must be adopted into a home with another young cat for her to bond with and play with. Or she can be adopted with her brother or sisters. She cannot be an only cat. She must have a cat friend.

Bambi's adoption fee is $95.00.


WE ARE A NO-KILL 501-C-3 NON-PROFIT RESCUE. All donations are tax deductible. We do not have a shelter. All pets live in foster homes. We only adopt to indoor homes. To see an animal, you must fill out an application first and then once approved, we can set up for you to meet the animal you are interested in. We do background checks on all applicants. All animals see a vet for shots and normal exams. If they appear healthy and there are no obvious health concerns, then extensive testing is not done. This is normal procedure for pet rescues and shelters.
Waverly Pet Rescue puts a lot of money into medical care for each dog and cat we take in. $200 is the average cost for basic care. This does not include if the animal had an injury, required extra flea / ear mite treatments, or needed extra days at the vet office.
