Meet Badger
DOB: 4/27/19
In Foster
Badger is a playful and curious two year old who’s been with ROAR for more that 8 months now-far too long to be waiting for his forever home! Luckily, he has been able to spend most of that time in a foster home, enjoying the company of another ROAR adoptee and getting lots of love and attention. He would do very well in a home with another cat. His foster mom has told us that he loves back scratches, belly rubs, playing with wand toys and especially loves getting treats from his puzzle box. Badger is a sweet and gentle boy who prefers lying near his humans, rather than cuddled on their lap. His foster mom discovered that he also loves drinking from the bathroom sink, so now he has his own fountain water dish to enjoy!
Soon after arriving at ROAR, we learned that Badger has a heart condition known as Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy (HOCM). He is currently on a daily medication and will require check-ups to monitor the progression. His current check-up shows his condition to be stable with no progression noted. His foster mom says he takes his pill easily each day and that you would never even know he had a heart condition based on his energy and playfulness.
Call the shelter to learn more information and to schedule an appointment to meet sweet Badger!
Badger is neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on vaccinations.
Adoption fee: $200.00
