Meet Bacon (FeLV+)
This sweet stripey guy likes to be in the same room as his humans, and adapts quickly to new people and places. He’s not super-chatty, but you might occasionally be treated to one of his soft little trills.
Bacon is an active cat, and needs lots of quality exercise and playtime. He loves to run laps in his home, and chase soft balls or toys. Helping Bacon get his zoomies is important, as he is currently is working on a little redirection to keep him away from human hands. He is doing better at this, and will continue to improve with gentle care and plenty of exercise.
When he’s finished with his cardio, Bacon is happiest cuddling and relaxing on or near his people.
Because Bacon is FeLV+, he cannot live with another cat unless that cat is also FeLV+. FeLV is not contagious to humans or dogs, but can be transferred to other cats. Annual vet visits, regular immunizations, and your love will help Bacon maintain a normal, healthy, and happy life. Bacon’s vet has recommended regular ear cleanings to prevent infections. You can read more about FeLV here: https://tinyurl.com/ycxhwcmu.
Bacon’s ideal home would be one where his people were eager to play with him often and help him discharge his energy. He would be so happy to have another FeLV+ cat to play (and play-fight) with. He would thrive with more experienced cat owners and gentle older children.
If you’re looking for an active, fun companion for your family, please consider bringing home the Bacon today!
