Meet Babs
Let this charming, quirky girl get to know you and become your lifelong friend!
Babs was surrendered by her previous owners when a relative moved into the house and was allergic to her. She is wonderfully playful and particularly loves her "bird-on-a-string" feather toy, and is not shy about showing it off! When around her favorite toy, she will go into an affectionate frenzy, rolling around, showing off her belly, and rubbing herself on her toy, your legs, and everything around you. She also loves treats!
Babs is rather timid and takes a while to get to know and trust someone. She would do best in a quiet, one or two person home with no other animals and an experienced cat owner. She can get spooked by sudden movements or loud noises, and is very hand-shy. She will also require an owner who will be willing to play from a distance and not be too hands-on. However, toys are the key to her heart! Though it may take a while for her to be comfortable being touched (being pet while getting fed helps!), she adores being rubbed and brushed with her bird toy, and doing so will help persuade her to be comfortable in a new space.
Babs is being fostered in Malden and her adoption fee is $150.
