Azalea – The Sweet Purr Machine

Azalea’s story began on the streets, where she and her kittens were found struggling to survive. They were taken to the St. Johns County Animal Shelter, where Azalea spent many raising her kittens in a shelter cage until her babies were old enough to be adopted. Can you imagine living in such a tiny space, day after day?

Once her kittens were placed in homes, Small Lives Matter Kitten Rescue brought Azalea to the cat café in hopes she’d find the loving family she deserves. Born around May 23, 2023, Azalea is still young, incredibly affectionate, and full of love to give. She’s a true purr machine — start petting her, and she’ll melt into you, purring non-stop in pure happiness.

Because she spent so much time protecting her babies, Azalea is still adjusting to being around so many other cats and would be happiest as the only feline in the home. What she really wants is a quiet, safe space where she can be your one-and-only, soaking up all the attention and returning it with endless love.

Azalea gave everything she had to care for her kittens. Now it’s her turn to be cared for, cherished, and adored. If you’re looking for a constant companion who will greet you with love and a rumbling purr, Azalea is ready to steal your heart.

We have dozens of cats and kittens available! All our adoptable cats are located at the Frisky Cat Cafe in St Augustine. 1092 Ponce De Leon Blvd (US 1). Visiting the cafe is a great way to find your perfect kitty. All of our cats and kittens are socialized and happy to interact with visitors, so you will meet them with their true personalities.
