Are you seeking out a most elegant, sophistiCATed, ginger tabby purrincess, then Aventador may be your purrfect match. This meowgnificent beauty came to AHS at 9 years young and did live purreviously with another cat. We were first told that she was male, but vigilant volunteers questioned that and it was confirmed by the AHS vet that she is indeed female! Aventador is slowly adjusting to the communal cat setting at the shelter but uses her voice appropriately to politely ask the other cats to give her the space she needs to feel safe and secure. Aventador is a people lover to the max. She is eager to hold sparkling conversations with you and wants you to know all about her exciting adventures. She is very self assured and walks with great purride and dignity as she purrances around the shelter. She will follow you around, while sharing her daily ins and outs, hoping you will snuggle up with her. She wants you to know she is more than ready to start the next phase of her life with a family that will purrovide her with a home that will treasure her, pampurr her and love her purrever.

Aventador lived with another cat peacefully in her purrevious home. At the purresent time she is just adjusting to the large shelter setting. We cannot purredict that she would do well with other cats in the home setting, however with proper introductions, patience and time it is always viable.

Purrlease ensure you have purrmission to have a cat where you live before considering adoption!

AHS will also purrovide behavioral support for the transition and more to ensure that everyone feels secure with the adoption.

Our adoption agreement prohibits declawing an adopted cat, and stipulates that the cat will be returned to us if the adoption does not work out, or if the adopter is no longer able to keep the cat or give him/her necessary healthcare.

For the first 30 days, cats who do not work out in their new homes may be returned for a refund or exchanged for another, more suitable, cat.
